Find you in the strangest places now find you where the woodbines meet the plow and I hear your voice clear as a bell I meet you down at where the well springs forth you are so beautiful just so Virginia creeper you have left the perfect sleeper and the roses bloom in spring before you now Underneath a tragic eastern sky you crawl out and wait your turn to die but if the first freeze don't get you and the fertile soil will let you then I'll see you when the days are longer now Virginia creeper you have left the perfect sleeper and the roses bloom in spring before you now

Closing time better bring your courage the one that lights your way to be forever lonely and farther down my street looking out your window the one that you would fix the one that you will pray for and you know that the world revolves around you now Deeper greens and blues blowing in from the south now leave before today will you be there tomorrow I find it hard to say the things you will believe in when all that's left to show the blue behind your eyes now and you know that the world revolves around you now

Allandale 04:06
There was place where I lived that I used to know right down the street scarecrow musical show parched from the heat And I'll sleep on the airplane And I'll crawl down the hall to be with you in Allandale When the sun's across the walk And I wish you a merrier tomorrow than today Were you mad for not showing us a side we wished to see Wolfpack Hold me back there's a lot of slack in back of me. Window don't you know there's a way to go when you're asleep And I'll wake in the cinema and I'll crawl through the hall to be with you in Alllandale when the sun's across the walk And I wish you a merrier tomorrow than today Were you mad or just showing us a side we wished to see And I wish you a merrier tomorrow than today Thanks, I'll wait for the bus I ride and meet you at Club Lake

Heaven 17 02:31
Coming down from heaven 17 now I could see the lights along the way sleeping in the backseat in the moonlight wouldn't it be fine to go this way and go that way till the end of the day are you looking forward to tomorrow is it any different than today counting all the hours you have borrowed carried in your tattered coat of gray and each new day just slips away into the gloom of the afternoon coming down from heaven 17 kicking at the stones along the way talking to the girls that you might fancy watching as the twilight melts away coming down from heaven 17 now

Shoeless 03:58
Got a song got a message think it's coming into view not long after some thinking I decided what I really want to do Gonna go and paint a big fat welcome on my house or maybe on the door instead underneath it there'll be fine print reading I don't mind the shoes, as long as they've been fed You never let me climb the simple way down found a ladder but you made me go around the situation felt so copacetic I just had to realize what you were gonna do Now here we are and yes, it's quite pathetic to think that all the while I knew what you were going through You never let me climb the simple way down
6.
Sirens 04:31
Well you heard about the sirens on the shore read it in books and you've seen it in magazines calling calling out your name Leading you on to heaven or the devils door And there's another one calling me out tonight and there's another one calling calling me home Now the night wind you feel it in your face you feel it all around and you smell it on the back of her coat Now the streets are dark and all the doors are shut but you can't turn back there's a feeling that's driving you on And there's another one calling me out tonight and there's another one calling calling me home Hey now listen man I know this sounds absurd what a man's gonna do about the voices in his head but there's a quick shot makes you feel alright but there's got to be something more you know I just can't tell And there's another one calling me out tonight and there's another one calling calling me home
7.
Sally White 02:39
Please Sally stay the night please, please Sally White You know I just can't take the morning light without you there to make it right so please Sally White Please you know I'm mad about you when I sleep you know I dream about you I'd do almost anything to make you cry and to make you sing so please Sally White

Wasting time across the county line guess I'll start all over again well I always seem to end up just where I began guess I'll start all over again There's no place in this world that I'd rather be than the arms of the one I love true but if you'd be inclined to be changing you mind then I guess I will too Well it seems to me now that the where, and the how matter less than the who, and the when If the time is right now then I'll make it somehow to the end and begin

Purple martin sanctuary find a place where we can hide the hours away desperation foreign to the ones who understand the simple nursery rhyme seemingly so far away they who do not notice paint their shades of gray nervously their fingers twitch upon the trigger knowing that it's going wrong It's going wrong One step ahead and one step behind the next one in line, it's a sign of the time One step ahead and one step behind And you are there just by the river a lovers kiss a style from 1924 We sit like ghosts together in the rain and wonder how it could have gone so wrong It's going wrong One step ahead and one step behind the next one in line, it's a sign of the time One step ahead and one step behind Purple Martin Sanctuary shadows fall around us in the afternoon Far below the lights come on here and there the night falls on our way back home It's going wrong One step ahead and one step behind the next one in line, it's a sign of the time One step ahead and one step behind

It wears me out to think of all the parts you're playing and it wears me down to see You taken all the black and white and turned them into gray you take tomorrow and you leave with too many yesterdays The perfect moon and underneath the hedges play to find you there and lean You've taken all the desert lands into the fertile ways you take tomorrow and you leave to many yesterdays It wears me out to think of all the games they're playing and it wears me down to see you've taken my best intentions and lost them on the way you left me with a photograph and too many yesterdays

And so it came that twenty days of rain did fall upon this town Went running down the streets and puddled neath the wheels left rusting in the mud and vacant in the fields Withered on the railroad vine this town left for dead stood staring from the porches and scratched its weary head fell upon your knees arms stretched toward the sky for you know the fertile ways live but for to die. Oh where do the railroad men go when the work that came is done When the track that for years they worked lie wasted in the sun and the whistle no longer signals the coming of the dawn and the station masters voice that called to you is gone. What of them that road home in midwest afternoon left for promises in vain that will not be back soon and what of you my children, there'll be nothing left to see and no one who remembers and you will not hear from me For the voice it will fall silent long after you will care When the mills stand stark and silent and the farmland is laid bare And so it came that twenty days of rain did fall upon this town

Eastern roads go on for miles Here we travel for awhile Don't say we'll live forever Sometimes it's now or never Oh to become what you will be Eastern roads go on for miles Here we travel for awhile You say you're sad and lonely Know that you're not the only one who's been taken for a ride They've laid out long before me They've wrapped their arms around me And they'll be here when we are gone Eastern roads go on for miles

Closing time better bring your courage the one that lights your way The one that you will know by and I know that the world revolves around you now Deeper greens and blues blowing in from the south now leave before today will you be there tomorrow and I know that the world revolves around you now and I know that the world revolves around you now
