smokencoffee The Coffee Sergeants should be world wide stars. They combine so many types of music together, and play it all with a talent the shows the friendship of a band that has been together for years. This is their first album, and the band is awesome playing together here, it just keeps getting better as you work your way to their newest album. How they make and play music that is timeless? Pure musical magic is my only guess. Keep rockin"!

And some fair day I'll think of you where the earth is green, and the sky is blue the sound of your breath in my ear is really all I want to hear And some fair day you'll think of me on a warm spring ride down to the sea where the earth is sand and the sea is blue maybe then I'll think of you
2.
I heard that yesterday was yesterday is yesterday and I always heard that yesterday is something you can't change I knew a girl, and I know her still I still hear her say to me By way of Egypt I will take you back and show you yourself as a child but I heard that yesterday was yesterday is yesterday and I always heard that yesterday is something you can't change She showed me things like diamond thoughts like chainsaw plans like turquoise ships at sea showed me things that made me see there's really nothing back there for me now. I heard that yesterday was yesterday is yesterday and I always heard that yesterday is something you can't change
3.
I don't feel a thing No I don't feel a thing no joy or remorse no pleasure or pain as you walk brazen and high-heeled across my soul and out my door But when the summer comes, then you will know when I'm far away, then you will know Comes on black as night and slow as Christmas speaks to me in some broken language I don't understand when the sun is high, then you will know when the days are long, then you will know When the time is right, then you will know Then you will know

Autumn Days 10:01
Would you like to know something about just where I'm coming from? April nights, and autumn days and the time spent in between them slips so silently away not today, no not today Would you like to know what's going on inside her head? What she said. Ah what she said. She'd like to know herself but she can't seem to find the time. I'd give her mine. I'd give her mine Would you like to know something about just where I'm coming from? April nights, and autumn days

about

The first release by the long running Austin TX alternative band The Coffee Sergeants turned some heads back in 1990 when it was first released. In a time when the rules were loud, hard, and fast, the Sergeants were none of these. Opting instead for subtle nuance, melodic integrity, and introspection. This 'cassette only' release set the tone for a body of work that continues 26 years later.
